The Red Lion in nearby Overton occasionally has a room to let if you’re quick off the mark. With a bus stop right outside the pub, it’s a quick and easy trip to Whitchurch. Best to book direct than on Booking.com if you can, as offers may be cheaper.

Spring Hill Wild Camping 

Although there are no camping facilities within the town itself, we recommend Spring Hill Wild Camping in the nearby village of St Mary Bourne. Just 4 miles from Whitchurch, it’s a 10-minute journey by car. It’s a beautiful wild camping site with around 15 pitches for tents and 5 for small campervans, £10 per person per night. The fare is £13 each-way to St Mary Bourne, with higher fares after midnight.  

Other options…

Andover is seven miles from Whitchurch and has lots of accommodation options to suit a variety of budgets, and has good transport links.  

By Car: 15 minutes drive. 

Taxi: The fare is £15 each-way by taxi with 1-2-Call Cars (with fares rising after midnight). Why not pre-book a taxi to and from Whitchurch with friendly local taxi company, 1-2-Call Cars, on 01264 400 600. You can also call them for pickups on the day.
